Anyone who tells you they don't need a thermometer and can "just tell" when things are done is either undercooking or overcooking their meat most of the time. The trick to juicy chicken breast is to remove it from the pan just before it comes to temperature, and for that you need an accurate thermometer. I've been using this almost daily for about a week and it's pretty great. The readings match the other thermometer I have (which isn't as convenient to use as this one), so hopefully that means they're both accurate. I enjoy the magnet on the back as it sticks to the side of my refrigerator, saving valuable drawer space. The magnet could be a bit stronger, but it gets the job done. I wasn't sure which one to buy as there were many similar options, but so far I'm super happy to have chosen this one.
